Class 03 No. 03371 is stabled on her home depot, Gateshead, on 13th December 1986. Built by BR Swindon Works during 1958 she worked for nearly 10 years as Departmental No. 92 based at Chesterton CCE Yard, Cambridge before renumbering as No. D2371 in May 1967, becoming Class 03 No. 03371 under TOPS in February 1974. Later moves would take her to York and finally Gateshead from where she was withdrawn during November 1987. Purchased for preservation she can be found today at the Dartmouth Steam Railway in Devon. Class 56 No. 56125, also Gateshead allocated at this time, was built at BR Crewe Works in October 1983 and is still in regular use on BR today as Class 56/3 No. 56303 operating with British American Railway Services.
