Mid afternoon outside a very peaceful ex BR Shed at Didcot Railway Centre on 17th July 2015 finds ex GWR 2-6-2T No. 4144 and 0-6-0PT No. 3650, both in GWR Green livery, with their fires just lit in readiness for their weekend duties on the demonstration lines at the Centre. Visible inside the shed on the far right is GWR King Class 4-6-0 No. 6023 'King Edward II' in experimental BR Blue livery while to the left of No. 3650 is Class 14 No. D9516 in BR two tone Green livery. All 4 locomotives were built at nearby Swindon Works No. 6023 in 1930 No. 3650 in 1939 No. 4144 in 1946 and finally No. D9516 in 1964.
