After a week-long rail strike the locals are caught unawares as a trio of CP diesels come barrelling through Banff with a heavy coastbound load of grain from the prairies for onward shipment out of Vancouver. No. 5791 takes the lead followed by No. 5896 and No. 5619 working hard on the climb to the 5t summit of the line at the Great Divide between Alberta and British Columbia on 26th August 1987.
