An historic moment for the Telford Steam Railway (TSR) as BR Class 108 No. 52062 DMCL stands proudly next to the newly opened halt at Lawley Common after drawing in the first fare-paying service from Spring Village on 4th April 2015. The Railway has been open to the public since 1984 running a half-mile long shuttle from the old Horsehay & Dawley to Spring Village along the old Wellington and Severn Junction railway. The TSR have plans for further extensions to eventually run trains to the Ironbridge Gorge.
