On 7th March 2015. WCRC Class 47/7 No. 47746 'Chris Fudge' (named on 2nd March 2015) stands in one of the sidings at Preston Station. waiting the arrival of the 12:36 Railway Touring Company's 'The Hadrian' railtour from Carlisle via Durham, York and Manchester Victoria, hauled by Ian Riley's LMS Stanier Class 5MT 'Black Five' 4-6-0 No. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' and LMS 'Jubilee' Class 4-6-0 No. 45690 'Leander'. The two locomotives would be replaced by the '47' at Preston, which would take the empty coaching stock to Hellifield Goods Loops.
