Now but a memory. Railfreight Class 60 No. 60047 brings its train to a halt at the former Madeley Road Station prior to running round and proceeding to use Madeley Chord Line to gain access to the WCML on a Silverdale Colliery - Fiddlers Ferry loaded coal on 27th June 1992. The truncated branch at this point once formed the ex NSR Branch from Stoke on Trent to Market Drayton.
