Visitors to the Nene Valley Railway Mixed Traffic Gala on 14th September 2014 were disappointed to discover that visiting new build Peppercorn Pacific Class A1 No. 60163 "Tornado" had failed due to a leaking wash-out plug which had engulfed the locomotive in steam. Here No. 60163 sits on Wansford Depot cooling down before examination could be made. Happily there will be further opportunities to travel behind No. 60163 before it leaves the NVR.
