Network Rail yellow-liveried locomotives Class 31/4 No. 31465 and Class 97/3 No. 97301 top and tail the 05:54 Neville Hill to Derby RTC test train, comprising of Network Rail research vehicles No. 72639 and No. 977974 (Track recording) seen here approaching Stenson Junction, Derbyshire some 60 minutes earlier than scheduled on Friday 1st August 2014. The test train had incorporated a route that had taken it via Hellifield, Blackburn, Preston Docks prior to returning to the RTC via Crewe and the North Staffs route.
