The late afternoon sun illuminates the final passenger train of the day working on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway when photographed approaching Shottle, located on the former Derbyshire branch line from Duffield to Wirksworth on Saturday 5th July 2014. The train, a three-car Metropolitan Cammell Class 101 diesel multiple unit consists of green-liveried DMCL No. E50170, TSL No. E59303 (also in green livery) and blue-liveried DMBS No M51188 that formed the 1715 Duffield to Wirksworth.
