Long delays were experienced across the North Wales network following a tragic accident where an Abergele man was hit by a train between Rhyl and Colwyn Bay. Compass Tours Chester & North Wales Explorer which began at 06:20 in Ayr was one such service effected. Hauled by WCRC Class 47/4 No. 47851, the service is seen here running through Llanfairfechan station 37 minutes late on 28th June 2014.
