Class 37/4 No. 37412 Loch Lomond enters Crianlarich Station with a train from Fort William - Glasgow Queen Street on an overcast 23rd April 1988. New to Landore MPD, Swansea in September 1965 as D6601, renumbering under TOPS to 37301 occured in March 1974. Conversion to ETH took place at Crewe Works, being completed during October 1985 and coinciding with a transfer to Eastfield MPD, Glasgow now numbered 37412. Transferred to Laira MPD, Devon during May 1990 after the introduction of Class 156 Sprinters to the West Highland Lines, 37412 continued in service south of the border until 2012. Scrapping took place at EMR Kingsbury during August 2012.
