ATW's loco-hauled set was in use for several days over Christmas and New Year, providing extra capacity between Crewe and Holyhead for increased ferry traffic to Ireland. It is pictured crossing the causeway over the Conwy estuary on 31st December 2013, with one of three reliefs run that day. Class 67 No. 67002 was providing the traction with DVT No. 82308 marshalled on the west end.
