The Tarka Line was closed from 12th to 20th October between Crediton and Barnstaple, for Network Rail engineering work to be performed. A pair of engineers trains, both formed of autoballasters with a Class 66 at each end worked between Exeter Riverside Yard and Crediton several times each day. Here, Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66531 leads the 09:50 from Crediton as it approaches Crediton station, passing the listed LSWR signal box built in 1875, on 17th October 2013.
