Sulzer Type 2 diesel electric No. 5079 waits to depart from Aberystwyth on 17th August 1971 with the overnight through mail/passenger working to York. Carriages of the Cliff Railway can be seen at the top of Constitution Hill. New from Crewe Works in February 1960 and allocated to March (31B), it became No. 24079 under TOPS in 1974. It was withdrawn from Stoke Division (D05) in July 1976 and cut-up at Swindon Works in September 1978.
