Class 419 Motor Luggage Van No. 68010(9010)is stabled at the back of Dover Priory station on 26th November 1988 wearing the obsolete London and Southeast jaffa cake livery. These Southern region EMUs were built for the boat trains from London Victoria to Dover and Folkestone and were also fitted with batteries to allow them to operate over the short-distance of non-electrified line at the quayside which could be then recharged when the unit was taking power from 750 V DC third-rail.
