East Midlands Trains Class 43 No. 43052 leads UK Railtours charter 1Z43, 09:42 London St. Pancras to Nottingham 'The Ivanhoe Crusader 125 Special', through rural countryside at Castle Gresley, Derbyshire on 31st October 2012. It is understood this was the first visit of a High Speed Train conveying passengers over the Knighton Junction, Leicester to Leicester Junction, Burton-on-Trent freight route. (A shortened IC125 unit was displayed at a Coalville Open Day in 1979). Classmate No. 43048, out of view, provided power at the rear as the train progressed slowly towards Burton-on-Trent, thereafter proceeding northwards along the Birmingham to Derby route as far as Stenson Junction before diverging onto the freight line towards Sheet Stores Junction (Trent) and onwards towards its destination of Nottingham.
