On the 4th September 2012, day 3 of the Africa Express rail charter, saw Class 47 No. 47810 take the lead, with No. 47805 at the rear, for the leg from Middlesbrough to Glasgow Central. The pair are seen passing the former site of Hart Station, north of Hartlepool.
