On Sunday 17th August 1986 as the result of an isolation of the 25kV supply on the "Bedpan" line, a raft of Chiltern Line Class 115 DMUs were loaned for the day. Here the rear car of a northbound train is pictures alongside contemporary posters. On of these shows Adrian Shooter, then Area Manager at St Pancras, who later coincidentally went on to lead Chiltern Railways into the privatisation era.
