Colas Rail Freight Class 68/8 No. 66849 'Wylam Dilly' is seen piloting sister locomotive No. 66850 over the Etwall Road level crossing at Willington, Derbyshire on 16th August 2012 with working 6Z96, 1242 Sinfin Sidings (Rolls Royce) to Grangemouth Sidings (Ineos). The train, running nearly two hours behind schedule, comprised of nine empty bogie oil tank wagons and is seen just after taking the North Staffs route, that will take the train via Uttoxeter and Stoke-on-Trent before joining the West Coast main line at Crewe on its journey north. The reason for an additional Class 66 on this train is unknown but it is understood No. 66849 worked as far as Carlisle with No. 66850 going forward to its destination. Earlier in the day the loaded tanks of aviation fuel for Rolls Royce's Aero Engine Test Plant at its Sinfin site had arrived behind a solo Class 66/8 No. 66850.
