CR Class 31/1 No. D5581 (31163) arrives into Chinnor Station working 2C16, the 14:39 from Thame Junction, during the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railways Steam and Diesel Gala, on 5th August 2012. The station building was completely re-built, to the original design and in the same location, by the railways volunteers after the original was demolished by BR in the 1970's. It opened in 2002 and won the Ian Allen Award at the National Heritage Railways Awards the same year.
