Dolau Station, situated on the Heart of Wales line, must be the most cared for station on the Arriva Trains Wales network. Local residents give time and money to ensure that it always looks its best with beautiful displays of flowers and plants in addition to the railway ephemera lovingly preserved on site. In this view, taken on 20th June 2012, ATW Class 150 No. 150245 departs southbound while working the 14:04 Shrewsbury to Swansea, one of only four daily trains in each direction. To the left of the unit may be seen some of the floral displays and the preserved tramway wagon acting as a running-in board.
