Class 47 No.47561 was painted into the unique red livery and renumbered for Departmental work as 97561. Here displayed at a mini-gala at Nottingham Midland Station on 4th June 1989 and named Midland Counties Railway 150 1839-1989 the loco was finally repainted into Mainline livery and further renumbered 47973.
