The 3rd train of the RTC Winter season of CME trips was altered to provide a locomotive changeover at Carnforth where Stanier Class 5 4-6-0s 44932 + 45305 took over for the steam hauled legs. Bearing a headboard in tribute to the late George Hinchcliffe - a founder member of the Steamtown site that morphed into the West Coast Railway Company - the duo ease out of Carnforth sidings onto the WCML en route to Carlisle on the 18th February 2012.
