With a fully loaded rake of passenger stock and 2 Class 47 diesels dead in tow and 28 minutes delay to make up, No. 60019 Bittern, running as 4492 Dominion of New Zealand, makes a purposeful entry into Spalding station on 15th December 2011. It is working the York Yuletide express from Norwich to York and was delayed by an incident at a level crossing in Ely.
