Still retaining its 'Freightliner Coatbridge' nameplates No. 90043 heads south between Shallowford and Worston Mill with MO 4L89 7.18 Crewe Basford Hall-Felixstowe liner on 20th June 2011. NR have recently announced the preferred route for the Norton Bridge Divergence and it will pass through the hillside behind No. 90043 roughly in the line of the trees, with the North Staffs route then flying over the WCML north of the present Norton Bridge Junction which is the cause of so many delays to WCML trains.
