The East Lancs Railway ran another of their popular diesel days on 7th November 2009, this time based on a theme of Type 2 and Type 3 locomotives. Always popular with the enthusiasts, Class 37/0 No. 37109 was paired up with Class 37/4 No. 37418 'Pectinidae' to work one of the diagrams. Operating in top and tail format, the EE type 3s approach the foot crossing at Burrs with the 14:20 Heywood to Rawtenstall service. Canon EOS 5D, 1/400, f5, ISO640
