A pair of EM1's (Class 76), unfortunately numbers unknown, approach Wadsley Bridge station, west of Sheffield Victoria from the Manchester direction, with the North Country Continental charter on 16 September 1978. Although Wadsley Bridge was officially closed, at this time it was used for football specials for matches at the nearby Hillsborough stadium.
