Passing the site of the long-closed Undy Halt between Severn Tunnel Junction and Newport on 30 May 2009 is a FGW HST working the 12.45 Paddington to Swansea. The bridge clearly shows that it was constructed in stages, the centre (presumably) at the time the line was built and the two outer spans when the line was widened to four tracks.
