A Private ceremony was held at Evesham Vale on Friday 17th October for 4-4-2 Pacific Count Louis, here the bottle is being smashed on the buffer to celebrate its return to passenger use on the Evesham Vale Light Railway. Count Louis was a founder engine on the Fairbourne Railway for many years and it was good to see so many ex drivers turn up and re live the experience. At the ceremony, builders, repairers and the people who funded the money for the engine were there soaking up the steam in the midday sun.
