The two opposite ends and fortunes of the Class 60 production run are breifly captured here in this view over Toton, with the first locomotive, 60001 'The Railway Observer' (originally named 'Steadfast')stored as unserviceable and parked up with a number of cannibalised Class 58's. The last Class 60 locomotive to be built (and as such, currently the last British built mainline diesel locomotive), No 60100 'Pride Of Acton' passes on the main line. 25th Sept 08.
